This two-day course will discuss how Microsoft Excel is used to manage, analyze and present data.  The main topics of the course are listed below:

  • Working with Data Sets
  • Sorting and Filtering
  • Tables
  • Conditional Formatting
  • Formulas and Functions
  • Charting
  • Pivot Tables
  • Automation (Macros and VBA)

The course has been structured to give the students plenty of hands-on activities to help solidify their practical understanding of the material covered.  In addition, transit related datasets and examples will be used to ensure the course is aligned with the student’s needs.

Attendees are encouraged to outline any specific needs on their registration form, so that these can be incorporated into the curriculum. A follow-up webinar will be offered several weeks later to address any questions that may arise in the course of applying these skills in a live environment.
