Virtual Training
Wednesday, June 10, 2020: 9:30-11 AM & 1:30-3 PM
Thursday, June 11, 2020:  9:30-11 AM & 1:30-3 PM
This training will also be offered on June 17-18, 2020

Adjusting to the evolving needs of PA Transit during the COVID-19 crisis, this course, previously scheduled as a one-day intensive immersion class, will be provided as a series of four 90-minute virtual trainings over two days. Participants will be able to interact with Ecolane trainers & ask questions as they would in an in-person environment.

This class is designed for full time schedulers, dispatchers, or managers who have been using Ecolane to actively schedule and dispatch for 6 or more months. This is not an introductory level class and will not cover the basics of reservations intake or basic scheduling functions. If you have primary job responsibility for preparing and managing and readying schedules for next day transportation, or managing the same day schedules, monitoring drivers and accommodate changes in fleet and demand, then this is the class for you. Attendees will be walked through how the Ecolane DRT system schedules and uses varying levels of configuration and violations settings to achieve scheduling results both in day before and real time. Attendees will review the steps and functions necessary to: review and improve schedules the day before service, address no-runs before and during service, and proactively manage runs for optimal results based on this knowledge of configuration and violation settings.

Cost: No charge. PennTRAIN has worked with PennDOT to waive registration fees for PennTRAIN courses through June 30, 2020.

Attendance Limit: To best facilitate audience participation, this course is capped at 40 participants. If this limit is reached, we encourage you to join the waitlist or contact sara@ppta.net, as additional sessions may be scheduled if there is sufficient interest.
