Designing and Delivering Transit that is Accessible and Equitable for Everyone
Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Even after decades of effort and investment in the creation and delivery of ADA compliant transportation services, people with disabilities continue to cite the ability to use public transit as a barrier to their equal participation in community life. This course will present a framework for evaluating the accessibility and equity of transit services for people with disabilities, and it will provide strategies for identifying, prioritizing and evaluating potential service and policy improvements.
