Description:

This session is provided for transit system supervisors/agency officials who are responsible for responding to transit accidents to conduct post-accident investigations. The training will cover the FTA’s definition of an accident and the thresholds for drug & alcohol testing. It will cover the necessary steps that must be taken once a post-accident testing decision has been made, including the testing windows and documentation of the event. This session will discuss all requirements related to USDOT-FTA post-accident testing, industry standards, common findings/issues; and best-practices.
