Read to Lead Virtual Book Club: Atomic Habits
Thursday, October 12
8:30 - 11:30 am ET
What do the numbers 21 and 66 have to do with our daily habits? Ever arrive at work, sit down at your desk, and wonder how you got there? Ever heard someone say, “I get my best ideas while taking a shower?” In this session, we’ll explore the power of our habits and how they can help or hurt us in our roles as managers and leaders. Based on the best-selling book “Atomic Habits” by James Clear, we’ll highlight some of the tools you can use to make a new, good habit or break/overwrite an old habit that isn’t serving you well. The plan is to whet your appetite with the concepts Clear presents, so you’ll read the book and put the ideas to work in your everyday life. And we’ll answer the mystery of 21 and 66 along the way.
