Description:

Open to Master Trainer Program Alumni and Participants of the May 14-16 program Only.

The workshop aims to connect this elite group of transit training professionals with the latest in training techniques, peers across Pennsylvania, and support to provide excellence in training.

During the workshop, you can expect to:

  • Opportunity to meet and connect with the newest class of Master Trainer program graduates;
  • Hear updates on training and training techniques from the instructors, Michael Noel and Tom Eser;
  • Share at least one way you have implemented the training you received;
  • Discuss how you want to receive additional training, information, and new techniques;
  • Engage with peers to troubleshoot, brainstorm and problem-solve;
  • Understand expectations for maintaining Master Trainer certification
  • Workshop counts towards ongoing training requirements for program alums.

This unique, participant-driven session will allow Master Trainer Program alums the opportunity to connect, share information and resources, and seek feedback. Attendees are encouraged to come with topics they would like to discuss. Think about any issues you’ve been experiencing that your peers might be able to help you with. Have you tried something new that has proven to be a game-changer? Is there something that went poorly and you’d recommend against? This is an excellent opportunity to connect with and learn from your colleagues!

Optional Session: We welcome program alums to join us for the morning session on Thursday, May 16, to serve as the audience for the Class of 2024 program final presentations. When registering, please note whether you will be joining us for that session so we can ensure we have enough room.

Deadline to Register: Friday, April 19, 2024

Cost: The program's cost is included in the registration fee for those attending the May 14-16, 2024, Master Trainer Class. For all other alumni, the cost to attend is $49.

Presented by:

PennTRAIN Master Trainer Reservation Link

Overnight self-parking in the Hilton's attached garage is available for an additional $15 per day, per vehicle. Day parking is $7 for up to 10 hours. Guests staying the night will have their parking added to their room reservation and they’ll receive a ticket from the front desk when checking in. Day guests can get their tickets validated at the gift shop or the front desk (gift shop is highly recommend as it’s usually not as busy as the front desk).

Check in is 4pm and checkout is 11am. Early check-in/late check-out is a request, though not guaranteed. Please call the front desk or call reservations to see the availability and options. Additional fees may apply.

Meals: Lunch and breaks will be provided during the Workshop. Please indicate on your registration if you have any dietary restrictions.

Attire: Casual. Because keeping the meeting room at a temperature that accommodates everyone can be challenging, we recommend bringing a sweater or jacket to stay comfortable.
