Conference Registration:

Advance registration for this conference has closed. On-site registration will be available for an additional fee. Please see the PPTA Registration Desk on in the Federal Room Foyer on Level 2 of the Lancaster County Convention Center to inquire about on-site registration.

To register for the conference at the reduced member rates, PPTA members must be logged in. If this is your first time logging in to PPTA's new registration system, you will need to set up your password

You are able to register other employees from your organization to attend the conference without needing their username and password. Simply enter their email address and personal information in the registration form. This will allow you to access discounted member rates based on their membership status, and will link the registration to their profile. It is important that you use their email address, as this is what links the registration and makes the discounted member rates available. If you are logged into your profile when registering another person, the invoice for their registration fees will be linked to your profile. If you are not logged in, the invoice will be linked to the registrant’s profile.

If your organization is a current PPTA member, but you aren't able to select a discounted member rate when registering an employee, it’s likely that individual isn’t currently listed in the system. Simply contact Sara Bowden at PPTA to remedy this. Sara can be contacted by email at sara@ppta.net or 717-234-7211 x101.

Transit Agencies are asked to pay by check whenever possible.

Room Reservations at the Lancaster Marriott:

In order to book a room at the Marriott, guests must be registered to attend the conference, and stay overnight a minimum of two room nights. Guests who stay overnight all three nights of the conference will receive a $40 discount on their 2019 PPTA Fall or 2020 PPTA Spring Conference Registration. (This discount is non-transferable)

Rooms are available April 22 to 25 at a discounted rate of $162 per night. In a change from previous years’ formats, room reservations for PPTA’s Spring Conference at the Lancaster Marriott are being handled through PPTA this year. Reservations cannot be made directly through the hotel. This is a new process, and we appreciate your flexibility as we work to make things as seamless as possible for members and conference attendees. The easiest way to make your room reservation is to provide those details when registering for the conference through the online registration portal at https://ppta.wildapricot.org/event-3287456. PPTA’s conference housing consultant, June Housman, will make a hotel reservation in your name using the information you provide in the registration form. You will receive emailed confirmation of your room reservation, including a confirmation number, within 5-7 business days. Please note that credit card information must be provided to secure the reservation, but if needed, guests are permitted to pay by check upon arrival at the hotel.

Need a change? If you need to change your reservation details after submitting your registration, simply contact Sara Bowden directly at 717-234-7211 x101 or sara@ppta.net.

We strongly recommend registering for the conference and providing your room reservation details by Monday, April 8. PPTA’s discounted room rate of $162 block will no longer available after that, and we’re not able to guarantee a room after April 8.

Vendor Details:

PPTA has moved to an every-other-year schedule for our PPTA Spring Conference Expo, and we’ll look forward to 2020 for our next large Expo. But in the meantime, we want to make sure we provide many meaningful opportunities for vendors and transit agencies to interact while in Lancaster together this April. Along those lines, we’ve scripted the following activities into our conference schedule to ensure plenty of time for vendor and agencies interaction, industry updates, and networking opportunities:

  • Monday early evening, PPTA will hold a vendor networking social. Our intent is to provide a one-evening “tabletop trade show,” offering vendors registered for the conference a concentrated opportunity to share promotional materials and information with attendees in this hybrid year as we defer the larger Expo to 2020. Space is limited, and we hope you’ll join in our plans. Trade show tables are available to registered vendors for $100 and can be requested during the registration process or by emailing sara@ppta.net. Don’t feel like you’ll want a booth? That’s okay! Any and all who registered with the enhanced registration option are welcome to attend the Monday evening event as non-exhibiting attendees.
  • We’ve made a purposeful effort to preserve swaths of time during the conference, keeping evening activities to an early ending time and placing an open evening in the program so that vendors and other conference attendees have many opportunities to visit with other industry friends and associates from across the state.
  • Building upon our pilot effort in 2018, our PPTA Industry Round Robins will be featured as part of the conference agenda, and offered as part of the technical breakout sessions throughout the conference. Have an idea you’d like considered? Please send an email to shawna@ppta.net outlining your idea for a brief, 10-20 minute demonstration or discussion by April 10, 2019.
