Roadeo Contestant - Fixed Route – $195.00
Roadeo Contestant - Shared Ride – $195.00

Roadeo Contestants

At a minimum, participants should be a full- or part-time operator for not less than one (1) year and cannot have had a preventable accident within the calendar year prior to the Roadeo.
In addition, contestants should generally have a good attendance record and cannot have been subject to punitive action during the prior calendar year.
Each PPTA entity is responsible for ensuring that their participants meet these qualifications.
Each PPTA entity is permitted to enter three (3) operators in each classification - Bus and Paratransit.
For PPTA members who sub-contract services, those subcontractors shall be allowed to enter operators, however, the sub-contractors' entrants shall be included in the members' limit of three (3) participants per category.

BRINGING GUESTS UNDER 21?

BOOK THE WOODLANDS HOTEL!

The Mohegan Sun Hotel & Casino will not allow guests on property under 21 years of age. We have a PPTA block of rooms at The Woodlands Hotel close by for those Roadeo competitors and attendees who are bringing guests under age 21. Information is found below.

NOTE: Cutoff for the discounted rate is July 31, so don't delay!

When calling to book a room, mention you need a room in the "PA Public Transit Association" block to receive the $98/night discounted rate.

Roadeo contestants staying at the Woodlands have the option for a late checkout of 2:30 PM Sunday.

OF NOTE:

The Woodlands Hotel has a nice outdoor pool;
Their set up and activities are family oriented.
This hotel’s room rate is $98/night government rate; (take your ID badge with you).
This hotel is only about a mile away from the Mohegan Sun PA.
All PPTA/LCTA Roadeo transportation will provide pickups at this hotel as well.
